2. (1) Sound Insulation Effect Measurement Standard

 ISO 23351 – 1 is a new standard for measuring the overall sound insulation level of office pods. It generates a single number called the Speech Level Reduction, which describes the degree of speech privacy provided.

(2) Sound Absorption Materials and Acoustic Design

1. The surface area and thickness of the sound absorption materials inside the office pod are good indicators of its acoustic performance. 60% of the equivalent area in the Jiayin Space soundproof pod uses environmentally friendly sound-absorbing materials.
2. Besides sound insulation, the internal acoustics of the pod is another important factor. Poor indoor acoustics make it difficult to hear what is being said during phone calls and meetings. This also leads users to raise their voices, creating another privacy issue. The reverberation time is usually used to describe the internal acoustics of a space. Our products meet the environmental grade standard design values: Rw + Ctr 30 db (+5 db) and RT0.75 s (+0.1 s).
3. The interior materials are designed with INSUL computer-aided acoustic design. To achieve a wide frequency response, special processes are applied to local materials, and the technology integrates 40% of the equivalent area of active reflected sound.

(1) Placement Location Recommendation

To fully utilize the office pod’s function of eliminating distractions and improving work efficiency, it is recommended to place them and phone booths in a centralized manner near people’s work areas for easy inspection and use.

The more noise or temporary conversations in the work area, the more pods are needed.

(1) Warranty Policy

All sold products enjoy 365-day worry-free service. Frame wear parts (including sealing strips, LED lighting, electrical components, hinges, and locks) are under warranty.

(2) Maintenance Service

It includes regular inspections (such as tightening screws and adjusting hinges) and replacement of worn parts. You can contact the after-sales service personnel at any time.

6. Installation and Safety

(1) Installation Method

1. Self-installation is possible. The product comes with a full set of installation tools, detailed installation instructions, and videos. Technical service personnel will provide online assistance.
2. However, you need to assess your own experience and familiarity with tool use.

(2) Site Requirements

1. Place it on a flat surface without obvious slopes and avoid direct sunlight to prevent the temperature inside the pod from being too high.
2. Leave a minimum of 15 cm of space above the pod to prevent echoes and ensure air circulation. Keep the indoor temperature and humidity within a comfortable range for humans and place the office pod in a well-ventilated area as much as possible.

(3) Space Requirements

1. Single-person Pod: A space of 1088mm in width X 1088mm in depth X 2288mm in height (including a minimum space of 5 cm on the side and 15 cm above the pod for air circulation).
2. Double-person Pod: A space of 1588mm in width X 1188mm in depth X 2288mm in height (including a minimum space of 5 cm on the side and 15 cm above the pod for air circulation).
3. Four-person Pod: A space of 2088mm in width X 1488mm in depth X 2288mm in height (including a minimum space of 5 cm on the side and 15 cm above the pod for air circulation).
4. Six-person Pod: A space of 2588mm in width X 2188mm in depth X 2288mm in height (including a minimum space of 5 cm on the side and 15 cm above the pod for air circulation). 

(4) Power Supply Method

It can be plugged into a standard socket. There is a power adapter to supply power to the fan and LED lights. There are electrical appliances and sockets that comply with local regulations and USB sockets for charging mobile devices in the pod.

(5) Air Circulation

1. Single-person Pod: 1 x 120 CFM fan, internal volume ≈ 2.15 m³, and it takes about 38 seconds to fill the entire pod with external air.
2. Double-person Pod: 2 x 120 CFM fans, internal volume ≈ 4.26 m³, and it takes about 38 seconds to fill the entire pod with external air.
3. Four-person Pod: 2 + 1 x 120 CFM circulating fans, internal volume ≈ 7.77 m³, and it takes about 68 seconds to fill the entire pod with external air.
4. Six-person Pod: 2 + 1 x 120 CFM circulating fans, internal volume ≈ 10.81 m³, and it takes about 95 seconds to fill the entire pod with external air.

(6) Exhaust Fan Noise

In a typical open-plan office environment, the fan does not significantly increase the noise level. The fan is located at the top of the office pod, so it is as far away as possible from the people working around it. In addition, the office pod should be avoided being placed under a low ceiling or a ventilation duct with a hard surface, as these structures may increase the fan noise by reflecting sound.

(7) Glass Safety and Privacy Protection

The product uses tempered glass equivalent to that of high-speed train windows and has passed the CCC certification, providing sufficient safety assurance. If you need more privacy protection, you can attach ordinary privacy film to the glass at any time.

(9) Material Properties

1. The pod body is made of aluminum alloy and carbon fiber board materials with excellent moisture resistance and will not deform due to humid climate. The PET polyester fiber board used inside the pod is also not easy to be affected by moisture and mildew and has reached the B-class flame retardant standard.
2. The indoor air quality of the product has been tested by the accredited testing laboratory SGS and fully complies with the limits of the E0 emission classification, that is, completely zero formaldehyde emission. Test reports can be provided upon request.

(10) Influence on Wireless Signals

There is no evidence that our office pods will interfere with any conventional wireless signals (such as Wi – Fi).

(11) Environmental Protection Characteristics

All the soundproof pods of JiaYin Space are very energy-efficient. Our products are mainly made of aluminum alloy and carbon plastic board, and all the materials used are specially produced. Most of our materials are recyclable. 70 – 80% of the aluminum alloy frame and internal felt used in our products are recyclable. In addition, a large proportion of all steel, aluminum, and glass is recycled during the manufacturing process.
